Established in 2016 in the city of Belagavi, Smart Sutra is an ISO and Euro UK accredited EdTech company that empowers educators, coaching centers, schools, and colleges to launch their own branded coaching platforms. Through our affordable franchise model—with or without a custom-built app—we enable partners to deliver ready-to-use, white-labeled content across Soft Skills and Competitive Exams.
We conduct the “Train the Trainer” certification program under our brand name NISAT (National Institute for Soft Skills and Aptitude Training). This is offered once a month as a live 7-day program (2 hours/day) and also as a self-paced course, helping aspiring and experienced educators become certified soft skills trainers and launch their coaching careers.
Through our robust LMS platform, we provide high-quality training in Soft Skills and Competitive Exam content at affordable prices, accessible to students, teachers, and institutions alike.
Before launching the franchise and certification model, Smart Sutra guided thousands of students in Soft Skills, Aptitude, and Competitive Exams—many of whom secured careers in Banking, SSC, RRB, Postal Services, and various State and Central Government jobs across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and beyond.

Founder & Team Leader
Mr. Shrinivas Balaraju serves as the Founder and CEO of Smart Sutra and Smart Career Goals, holding an M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. With a background as an engineer and former athlete, he seamlessly transitioned into career counseling, soft skills training, and competitive exam coaching. He began his career at Jindal Steels before becoming a professor in three reputed colleges until 2016.
Driven by a passion for education, Mr. Shrinivas founded Smart Sutra—an EdTech platform that empowers schools, colleges, and coaching classes to launch their own branded coaching platforms with white-labeled content. His venture also offers one of India’s most affordable franchise models and a wide range of online self-paced courses at accessible prices.
In collaboration with his dedicated team, he has guided countless students in achieving their academic and career goals through simplified and impactful teaching methods.
With over a decade of experience in education and career guidance, Mr. Shrinivas has earned widespread recognition, including the Innovative Educator Award. He now supports educators in building sustainable coaching careers by offering training, content, technology, and mentorship across India.
Fueled by his passion for education, Mr. Shrinivas embarked on establishing his own training institute specializing in Soft Skills and Competitive exams. In collaboration with his team, he diligently guided students toward realizing their aspirations. His teaching approach is characterized by a profound commitment to simplifying complex concepts.
Our team leader, Shrinivas, boasts an impressive decade-long tenure dedicated to the realms of education and career guidance. His teaching acumen has been recognized through a series of accolades, including the recent distinction of the Innovative Educator Award.
